Two parts of the newspaper — official and informal became an association basis round the newspaper of the intellectuals (including from among political exiled) and it was school of professional journalism in Youzhny Priobye. The newspaper became the catalyst which brought the subsequent newspapers anyway comparing themselves to the first regional edition to life. And even in the conditions of censorship and dictatorship of an ofitsialshchina, it often became a source of interesting information on local life, life and events, its materials were quoted by capital newspapers and in documents of the Russian geographical society.
