Note: The monthly popular scientific magazine of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) "Nature" — one of the editions, oldest in Russia. The first issue of this magazine appeared on January 26 (on old style) 1912 with a circulation of 5 thousand copies under edition of famous Russian scientists of the beginning of the XX century — the zoologist Vladimir Aleksandrovich Wagner and the chemist Lev Vladimirovich Pisarzhevsky considering it "as the best means of fight against prejudices with influence of scholasticism and metaphysics" (as it was specified in the address "From edition" in the first issue of the magazine "Nature").
